Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Occupancy Specialist to join our team at Beacon Communities. As an Occupancy Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum occupancy of our properties while providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process income certifications and recertifications for multiple affordable housing programs
  • Update Yardi database and process monthly Section 8 Housing Assistance Payment Billing
  • Process and transmit TRACS and coordinate leasing activities, including intakes, interviews, and application processing
  • Coordinate and maintain waiting lists, prepare and maintain office and rental expense budgets, and assist with rent collection efforts
  • Conduct new resident orientations and foster positive relationships with residents, communities, and associated agencies
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Two years of sales/leasing experience desirable
  • Certified Occupancy Specialist Designation preferred
