Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor Night Shift Leader to join our team at Carlex Glass Company. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of production staff to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of production staff to achieve production goals and objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all production processes meet the highest quality standards and are in compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential safety risks and hazards in the workplace, and ensure that all employees are trained and equipped to work safely.
  • Production Planning and Control: Plan and control production schedules, inventory, and resources to ensure efficient and effective production processes.
  • Performance Management: Coach and counsel employees to improve performance, address performance issues, and develop training plans to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with employees, management, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or production management.
  • Skills: Advanced/Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Suite; ability to learn and follow procedures while working safely in a manufacturing environment; hands-on approach to problem-solving and analysis; excellent analytical skills.
  • Other Requirements: Must be willing and able to work all available shifts; regular and predictable attendance required; valid driver's license required for business travel.
