Innova Solutions is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Specialist to enhance our client support team. This role is crucial in ensuring a seamless experience for our patients and their families.

Position Type: Full-Time, Contract to Hire
Duration: 3 Months
Location: Remote

As a Customer Service Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  • Professionally handling incoming calls and electronic inquiries from patients and their families to assist with patient registration, appointment scheduling, and general inquiries.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely registration of new patients to optimize service delivery and facilitate financial processes.
  • Identifying and rectifying discrepancies in patient information while accurately inputting data into our electronic medical record system.
  • Verifying insurance coverage and informing patients about their financial responsibilities, as well as scheduling consultations with financial counselors when necessary.
  • Coordinating healthcare appointments based on patient needs and institutional guidelines, while interpreting physician orders for scheduling.
  • Communicating essential appointment details and any necessary preparations to ensure patient readiness and timely arrival.
  • Documenting patient-related messages and coordinating immediate responses for urgent situations.
  • Providing a calm and professional demeanor to assist upset callers and effectively escalating priority issues for resolution.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $15 - $17 per hour
