Mental Health Professional Job Summary

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Mental Health Professional to join our team at MCI-Norfolk in Norfolk, MA. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality mental health services to our patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide crisis stabilization, complete intakes and on-going evaluations, and provide consultation to in-house and community services.
  • Participate in monthly behavioral health calls, work collaboratively with the medical team to determine overall treatment for each individual.
  • Perform risk assessment of inmates, coordinate care with interdisciplinary team, and discharge planning.
  • Assist in planning and implementing the goals and objectives of programs and projects.
  • Prepare documentation, records, and reports as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Licensed, Master's Level Behavioral Health Clinician, Masters Social Worker (LCSW) who can administer assessments, make clinical decisions, provide Mental Health treatment, and hold any of the following licenses: LCSW, LPC or equivalent.
  • Graduation from a Master's level program.
  • Minimum of one year employment in a social work capacity in a public or private agency or equivalent.
  • Must receive a satisfactory background investigation report.
