About the Role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Private Duty Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and manage physicians' prescribed plans of care for our patients
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and coordinate care with our interdisciplinary team
  • Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by physicians
  • Document all care provided in our electronic system of record, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide health education and training to family members and caregivers
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians, with co-signature from Case Manager as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client concerns and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • At least six months of prior hands-on nursing experience (preferred but not required)
  • Reliable transportation
