ROLE OVERVIEW - This position is responsible for upholding all facets of the Quality Management System to enhance processes, boost production efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include establishing acceptance criteria and conducting system tests to ensure compliance. This role is crucial in the problem-solving framework and in the creation of technical documentation to support these efforts. The position may require overtime on weekdays or weekends, and frequent travel could be necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Collaborate effectively within a team and independently in a dynamic environment.
  2. Demonstrate self-motivation and goal orientation, with a strong commitment to achieving team and organizational objectives.
  3. Act as the primary liaison for assigned suppliers and customers regarding all quality-related communications, investigations, data analysis, and feedback.
  4. Develop and monitor key performance indicators as the main contact for suppliers and customers. Conduct self-directed product and process audits to ensure compliance with these indicators and proactively implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  5. Travel to designated locations for product and process audits, issue evaluations, product sorting, and to facilitate a shared understanding of part-related concerns.
  6. Utilize technical writing and analytical skills to address complaints through customer portals and/or internal corrective action documents.
  7. Contribute as a member of the APQP Team to ensure all necessary activities are completed to meet PPAP requirements within established timelines.
  8. Provide guidance on key quality characteristics based on design intent, lessons learned from previous or similar product lines, and benchmarking activities as part of the APQP Team.
  9. Assess new product samples and components, assist with packaging configurations, and guide the APQP Team using technical data.
  10. Create, update, and maintain Control Plans, PFMEA, and Process Flow Diagrams in accordance with IATF requirements.
  11. Deliver solutions to complex challenges through thorough analysis, DOE activities, and application of problem-solving tools.
  12. Coordinate internal efforts to ensure all customer-specific requirements are understood and followed.
  13. Establish and maintain internal quality standards and boundary samples.
  14. Generate and monitor quality alerts based on internal and external feedback.
  15. Serve as the primary subject matter expert to support internal teams in addressing quality-related issues and developing quality control systems to enhance overall product quality.
  16. Conduct daily process reviews to assess part quality and take appropriate actions as necessary.
  17. Initiate, coordinate, and oversee sorting activities with internal teams and third parties as needed.
  18. Analyze data to produce quality-related reports that align with organizational objectives.
  19. Interpret drawings, CAD, technical specifications, and other relevant quality documentation.
  20. Ensure compliance with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 through the internal audit process.
SUPERVISORY ROLE: This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
