The Opportunity

As a Lead User Experience Designer, you will take charge of complex projects, ensuring that our product design processes maintain consistency, quality, and efficiency. Your role will involve collaboration with cross-functional teams to create delightful user experiences while mentoring your peers.

Your Responsibilities
  • Own the development of project objectives, integrating high-level design direction and roadmap goals.
  • Facilitate the progression of critical tasks through sprints while collaborating with leadership to shape a vision for your product area.
  • Deliver impactful solutions that extend beyond your immediate product area.
  • Guarantee that your cross-functional team provides a cohesive, thoughtful, and comprehensive user experience in all released work.
  • Mentor your design team in discussions, collaboration, and the establishment of design patterns and research methodologies.
  • Contribute continuously to best practices in research and analytics.
  • Guide individuals both within and outside your team to create user-friendly and engaging products.
  • Exhibit ownership and accountability for the outcomes of your team's work.
  • Craft clear and effective UX writing to enhance your design solutions.
  • Plan enhancements for your product area to assist customers in achieving their objectives efficiently and effectively.
  • Engage with customers regularly to understand their needs and represent them throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Conduct independent research to grasp customer requirements and mitigate assumptions.
  • Define your problem space through ongoing discovery and exploration, gaining a deep understanding of customer and business needs in your domain.
  • Create design deliverables ready for engineering using a component library or existing content to facilitate feature execution every three weeks.
  • Oversee sprint deliverables to safeguard the intended customer experience.
  • Promote and advocate for UX processes across various stakeholder interactions.
  • Serve as the primary advocate for the user throughout the entire product experience, helping others to understand the customer's perspective.
  • Report findings and recommendations related to your product area to your cross-functional and design teams.
Your Profile
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in UX/UI design, including at least 2 years focused on B2B products.
  • A compelling portfolio that showcases your design thinking, visual design, interaction design, and user research capabilities.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow, demonstrating intellectual curiosity.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methods, with a passion for sharing knowledge with fellow designers.
  • A commitment to reimagining existing products.
  • Experience in content strategy and platform design.
  • A leadership style that sets an example for others.
  • A proven track record in UX design and strategy.
  • A collaborative spirit, eager to work with teams to solve challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills, both clear and persuasive.
  • Experience in building SaaS products.
  • A high level of visual refinement in your UI design, with an understanding of detailed interactions with engineers.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.
  • A dedication to customer loyalty and involvement in product decisions from concept to completion.
  • A focus on understanding user behavior and designing complex experiences.
  • Proficiency in collecting customer data, conducting heuristic evaluations, creating journey maps, and employing other UX methodologies to inform user-friendly products.
  • High standards for design thinking and UX best practices, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Experience adhering to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
  • A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and enhancing user experiences.
  • Resilience in managing multiple inputs, meeting varying deadlines, and prioritizing effectively.
