Technical Sales Representative

The Technical Sales Representative will support customers, sales and marketing, and internal teams to maintain and grow sales for existing and new accounts based on knowledge of the customer, preferences, and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of business sales and/or engineering experience and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and manage existing accounts as assigned.
- Develop and maintain business relationships by promoting and selling Hutchinson Industries, Inc.'s products with accounts in established and new markets.
- Obtain budgeted sales revenue target by matching our value proposition of new and existing products to customer needs.
- Generate new revenue streams by aggressively pushing new/existing products.
- Evaluate customers' business needs and prepare and submit formal and informal proposals and recommendations.
- Develop quarterly sales call plan, track account performance.
- Domestic travel to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of business sales and/or engineering experience.
- Ability to work independently and possess strong decision-making, motivational, workload management, analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, for viewing a computer terminal distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception vision for driving and ability to adjust focus. This position is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
