Unit Overview:

D4 is a 30-bed intermediate care/stepdown unit specializing in cardiac care. This unit primarily serves patients requiring cardiac catheterizations, post-STEMI/angioplasty care, NSTEMI management, post-pacemaker insertion, and those with congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, or other cardiac arrhythmias, as well as patients experiencing hyper/hypotension who do not meet ICU admission criteria.

Work Schedule:

This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with evening/night shifts and every third weekend.


Qualifications:
  • Critical care experience is essential.
  • Cerner experience is preferred.
  • Participation in our Clinical Advancement Program, which offers advancement opportunities and financial incentives.
  • Engagement in unit-based councils or other council opportunities is encouraged.
  • Tuition reimbursement is available.
  • Lowell General Hospital has been honored with Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) for excellence in nursing care, achieving our third designation in August 2020.
