Unit Details:
D4 is a 30-bed intermediate care/stepdown unit specializing in cardiac care. This unit primarily serves patients requiring cardiac catheterizations, post-STEMI/angioplasty, NSTEMI, post-pacemaker insertion, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, and other cardiac arrhythmias, as well as patients experiencing hyper/hypotension who do not meet ICU admission criteria. D4 is proud to have received the Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN), recognizing our commitment to exceptional patient care and a healthy work environment.
Work Schedule:
36 hours per week, Day/Eve Shift, Every Third Weekend
Rotating shifts from 7 am to 7 pm and 11 am to 11 pm.
Qualifications:
- Critical care experience is essential.
- Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips.
- Strong time management skills are required.
- Experience with electronic charting systems; Cerner experience is preferred.
- BSN is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required; PCCN or CVRN certifications are preferred.
