Unit Highlights:
D4 is a 30-bed intermediate care unit specializing in cardiac care. Our team provides exceptional care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterizations, post-STEMI/angioplasty, and those with various cardiac conditions, including CHF and atrial fibrillation. We are proud to have received the Beacon Award for Excellence from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, recognizing our commitment to outstanding patient care and a healthy work environment.
Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment of 36 hours per week, with evening and night shifts, including every third weekend.
Qualifications:
- Critical care experience is essential.
- Ability to independently interpret telemetry strips.
- Strong time management skills are required.
- Experience with electronic charting systems; Cerner experience is preferred.
- A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory; PCCN or CVRN certifications are advantageous.
