Responsibilities- Coordinate pastoral support services to patients and families, ensuring their spiritual needs are met.
- Provide direct pastoral services, including counseling and spiritual guidance, to patients and families.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement spiritual care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
- Document clinical contacts and patient interactions, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Input clinical data into our MISYS database, ensuring seamless integration with our care teams.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college and a Divinity Degree.
- Minimum of one year experience post-graduate in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform Islamic End of Life ministry.
- Excellent communication, listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Valid New York State Driver's license preferred.
