Job Summary

The Arms Acres facility is seeking a full-time Admissions Assistant to coordinate and perform all tasks required to prepare a patient for admission. This role requires additional clerical assistance to the Intake Coordinators as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greets all incoming patients, families, and referents, noting their arrival on the Board and paperwork.
  • Coordinates and completes the admission process, verifying demographic information with the patient.
  • Enters information into Meditech, including Bed Assignment, and collects deposits with receipts for payment.
  • Ensures consents and releases are completed and signed according to regulations as outlined in facility policy.
  • Maintains office supplies and files Business Office Charts in the Admissions Office File Cabinet.
  • Participates in Performance Improvement Initiatives.
Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with one to three months' related experience and/or training. Bachelor's and CASAC preferred.
