Job Overview

Newman University seeks a highly skilled Corporate and Foundation Relations Officer to advance its mission by building strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for corporate and foundation support, driving growth and revenue for the university.
  • Collaborate with Advancement leadership to create a multi-year engagement plan, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Work closely with senior executives to prioritize fundraising initiatives, identifying opportunities for major gifts and strategic partnerships.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with board members, council members, and leaders of key organizations, cultivating support for the university's mission.
  • Maintain accurate records of contacts, tracking giving history and relationships with corporate and foundation donors.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, fund development, public relations, education, or a related field.
  • At least three years of experience in foundation/corporate/government fundraising, with a proven track record of achieving revenue targets.
  • Demonstrated relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with a high level of professionalism and integrity.

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary of $85,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, holidays, and tuition waiver for employees and their dependents.
