Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Beauty Business Development Manager - Specialty Accounts to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and expansion within your portfolio of specialty accounts. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities to build successful partnerships with retailers and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and expansion within your portfolio of specialty accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with specialty accounts and distributors across NA, ensuring alignment on budget, forecasts, sampling, support, and plans.
- Conduct regular check-ins with distributors to gather information needed for business continuity, including feedback, testers, samples, collateral, brand guidelines, etc.
- Initiate, plan, and execute biannual market meetings for all accounts, driving results and increasing brand awareness.
- Monitor and review wholesale POs for monthly plans, OOS, aligning to the forecast, and analyze opportunities and/or problems in sales reports for individual distributors and accounts.
- Partner closely with the planning team to provide forecasts, review volume opportunities, and communicate any changes to the market activity that would impact current forecasts.
- 6-8 years of Sales/Account Management experience, preferably within wholesale accounts and distributors in the beauty/cosmetics industry.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as flexibility to cater to a diverse range of external and internal partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated success of building successful partnerships with retailers, as well as internal & external stakeholders.
- Ability to pivot and maintain flexibility with integrity, to achieve results.
- Energized in a fast-paced environment, while demonstrating ability to balance priorities.
- $108,000-125,000 salary (dependent on experience)
