Ensorcell is a new business venture within Re:Build Manufacturing, focused on developing innovative products for the laboratory, bioprocess, and cell culture spaces. Our mission is to improve productivity and technical efficacy in these areas.

Job Summary

We are seeking a General Manager to lead the development, commercialization, launch, and profitable growth of new Re:Build products in the Laboratory and Bioprocessing space. The successful candidate will have a strong background in business leadership, life sciences, and product development.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan to establish Ensorcell's presence in target markets, develop an expanding portfolio of new products, and drive profitable sales.
  2. Own the P&L and lead the team to make solid operational and financial decisions to meet production, sales, income, and cash flow objectives.
  3. Develop pricing and channel strategies for the portfolio of products.
  4. Use industry knowledge, contextual research, and direct input from customers to drive product requirements, commercial insights, and marketing plans.
  5. Develop and maintain an active pipeline of technology-oriented research projects informed by market opportunities.
  6. Evaluate total addressable markets and target markets; Conduct/drive advance sales to verify revenue potential.
  7. Partner cross-functionally to gather and synthesize relevant inputs needed to build strategic and tactical plans.
  8. Understand distribution, market opportunity and volume potential to develop sales and operating plans.
  9. Nurture customer and partner relationships and support new product development.
  10. Develop comprehensive launch plans to bring new products to market on time.
  11. Explore, develop, and manage potential partner relationships.
  12. Establish and monitor KPIs, key milestones, and critical path management for product launches.
  13. Partner with Operations to manage production capacity to support sales growth.
  14. Drive process improvements that enable the business to scale efficiently.
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of business leadership experience in life sciences, biotech, MedTech, or similar fields.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, life sciences, or equivalent.
  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in management or engineering a plus.
  • Experience working in a physical product development and commercialization environment.
  • An adaptable, nimble, solution-oriented, and collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated performance in leading successful new product launches.
  • Highly motivated, with a bias for action and passion for customer engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills – written, verbal, and visual.
  • Experience working with an array of functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Organized and in possession of demonstrable analytical skills.
  • Strong financial competence.
  • Start-up or new business building experience is a plus.
