Position Overview

The State Teachers' Retirement System is in search of a dedicated professional to join our team as an Information Technology Supervisor II within the Business Analysis and Prototyping Unit of the Technology Services Branch. This role is pivotal in ensuring the development and support of innovative technology solutions that enhance the operational efficiency of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Under the guidance of the Director of Enterprise IT Solutions and Innovation, the incumbent will oversee business analysis for custom application development, deployment of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) products, as well as system integration and business-centric prototyping for cloud and innovation initiatives. The Supervisor will play a crucial role in aligning division and branch strategic objectives with agile delivery, cloud solutions development, automation projects, and data analytics.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies:
  • Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and champion change.
  • Strong advocacy for leading teams through digital and cultural transformations towards agility and high performance.
  • Expertise in developing functional designs, technical pilots, and innovative solutions.
  • Possession of professional certifications such as IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis), Agile methodologies (e.g., Scaled Agile Framework, Scrum Master), and/or cloud certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Compensation and Benefits

Employees may be eligible for a 5% salary increase annually based on performance evaluations until reaching the maximum salary for the position.

Work Environment

We offer a hybrid work model that includes both in-office and remote work options, allowing flexibility in work arrangements.
