Job Summary:

The Patient Registration Specialist will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, communicating with physician offices, and scheduling appointments. Key responsibilities include greeting patients, orienting them to the facility, and ensuring a smooth registration process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering phone calls and responding to patient inquiries
  • Communicating with physician offices to confirm appointments and gather necessary information
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the patient registration process
  • Greeting patients and providing a warm welcome to the facility
  • Orienting patients to the facility and ensuring they have a positive experience
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Performing various administrative tasks, including filing and chart maintenance
  • Ordering supplies and managing inventory
  • Assisting with other duties as needed to support the team

Requirements:

  • Completion of secretarial/computer/business courses preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required
  • At least one year of secretarial experience preferred
  • Medical background experience preferred
