Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Specialist to join our team at John Bombinski Agency LLC - American Family Insurance. As a Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for marketing, prospecting, and selling American Family Insurance products in all product lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market and Prospect for New Business: Develop knowledge of the local market dynamics for business development opportunities for all product lines.
  • Grow Agency Sales: Use consultative selling techniques to sell insurance products to new customers and help the Agency grow.
  • Cross-Sell and Upsell: Proactively cross-sell and coordinate with agency team members to provide additional coverage to existing customers.
  • Prospect for New Leads: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through leads, telephone calls, networking events, trade shows, and personal contacts.
  • Secure New Business: Secure new business through individual effort and established lead methods.
  • Prepare and Deliver Presentations: Prepare quotations and applications and deliver effective presentations to close sales.

  • Technical Skills: Experience with PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suites, Internet Explorer, etc.) and digital devices (smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers).
  • Digital Literacy: Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, LinkedIn, etc.).
