Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team at Liberty Mutual Group. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for utilizing consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales, as well as assisting in the processing of new business and identifying cross-selling opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Sales: Utilize consultative sales techniques to prospect and initiate new business sales, building relationships with customers and identifying their needs and preferences.
  • New Business Processing: Assist in the processing of new business, including contacting customers to finalize sales and service transactions, and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Cross-Selling Opportunities: Identify opportunities to sell additional products or services to existing customers, and work with the Lead Sales Representative to develop and implement a marketing plan to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Contribute to and execute a marketing plan with the Lead Sales Representative, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities and developing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Previous Sales Experience: Previous employment in sales where prospects have been successfully turned into customers.
  • Insurance License: A state insurance license or willingness to earn one with Liberty Mutual's training and support in Property & Casualty, Life, and Accident & Health.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective written, oral communication and presentation skills, as well as great interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build rapport with prospective and existing customers.
  • Time Management and Organization: Effective time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Insurance Knowledge: Ability to learn insurance coverage and underwriting guidelines, and familiarity with finding, building, and growing leads and customer base.
