About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and check-out, PBX operations, and mail and message service
  • Providing outstanding service to guests, including answering phone calls and responding to guest inquiries
  • Reviewing arrivals, noting special requests, and blocking rooms as needed
  • Conducting pre-assignment of hotel rooms, including VIPs, repeat guests, and special requests
  • Following established key control policy and ensuring proper credit policies are followed
  • Submitting lost and found articles and balancing daily shift bank
  • Monitoring room availability and reviewing daily selling status using yield management system
  • Attending department meetings and communicating with other departments
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer-facing role preferred
  • Knowledge of the immediate area, services, attractions, and events
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal with multiple arrivals and departures
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and operations
