Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent Controller to enhance our finance team. This role is crucial for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of our financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Controller, your main duties will include:
1. Managing all financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, general ledger, budgeting, cash forecasting, and variance analysis of revenue and expenditures.
2. Ensuring compliance with GAAP by accurately recording, filing, and reporting all financial transactions.
3.
Establishing and maintaining internal control procedures to adhere to financial regulations and prevent discrepancies in financial statements.
4. Implementing and overseeing the Quantum ERP system to enhance financial processes and operational efficiency.5. Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
6. Collaborating with external auditors to achieve successful audit outcomes and compliance.
7. Identifying financial risks and opportunities for the organization.
8. Providing strategic financial insights and leadership on decision-making matters affecting the organization.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Controller position should have:
1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferred.
2.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role, preferably within the engineering or manufacturing sectors.
3. Proficiency in Quantum ERP and other financial management software.4. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices.
5. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams and foster collaboration.
6. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
7.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
