BerryDunn is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Assistant to join our Outsourced Accounting Services Practice Group (OASPG). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support across a wide range of industries, handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payables for multiple clients and produce accurate payable reports
  • Process and maintain receivables for multiple clients, ensuring timely deposits
  • Record bank and credit card transactional activity in various accounting software packages
  • Perform bank reconciliations and maintain/monitor cash balances
  • Produce basic workpapers, financials, and trial balances
  • Assist with 1099 preparation and maintain vendor records
  • Correspond with vendors/clients regarding payment status and open invoices
  • Maintain electronic vendor files and ensure W-9 compliance
  • Understand and adhere to the firm's policies and procedures
  • Establish effective work schedules and communicate timely with clients and team members
  • Work collaboratively as an effective team member to complete project components and assignment tasks
Requirements
  • Associates degree or working on a Bachelor's degree
  • Working knowledge of the general ledger, basic financial statements, and adjusting entries
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong technology skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to stay ahead of projects and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-based, collaborative environment
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Suite of software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range targeted for this role is $27 - $32 an hour. This salary range represents BerryDunn's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

If an applicant possesses experience, education, or other qualifications in excess of the minimum requirements for this posting, that applicant is encouraged to apply and a final salary range may then be based on those additional qualifications; compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, years of experience, depth of experience, seniority, merit, education, training, amount of travel, and other relevant business considerations.
