Construction Program Educator

The Construction Program Educator will oversee, guide, and instruct in the continuous planning, execution, development, direction, and assessment of the educational institution's Construction Program.

This role is essential in ensuring that the program provides the necessary pathways to certification, aligning program objectives to support students' careers beyond their educational journey.

Preferred Qualifications: NCCER certification is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver instruction that aligns with the course curriculum and educational pathway outcomes;
  • Establish and maintain relevant partnerships with local businesses and educational institutions to create a seamless transition from high school to college;
  • Serve as a career advisor, offering guidance and support to students as needed;
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the pathway program both internally and externally;
  • Ensure an enrollment of 10 or more student participants annually;
  • Utilize innovative instructional methods to enhance student engagement and enthusiasm for the program;
  • Monitor student progress to guarantee course competency and Career and Technical Education (CTE) status;
  • Organize and administer CTE assessments and credentialing examinations;
  • Maintain the school's affiliation with the Career Tech Student Organization and encourage student involvement in the CTSO;
  • Work alongside building administrators to promote the success of the overall program;
  • Assess program effectiveness and make revisions as necessary;
  • Keep an inventory of all program resources, equipment, and supplies;
  • Participate actively in professional development conferences and meetings at various levels;
  • Assist in coordinating the Business Advisory Council meetings;
  • Contribute to creating optimal learning environments and a positive culture within the educational institution.
