Position Overview:

As a Certified Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting radiology examinations and procedures for patients across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting general radiology, portable, and fluoroscopic procedures.
  • Assisting in the scheduling of patient procedures.
  • Providing education to patients about the procedures, equipment, and examinations to ensure their comfort and understanding.
  • Documenting and reporting any equipment malfunctions to management.
Ideal Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Current registration as a Radiologic Technologist by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of human anatomy.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, even in high-pressure situations.

Qualifications:

Applicants should have:

  • A degree from an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current registration with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R) (ARRT).
  • State licensure prior to employment.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:

This role requires:

  • Extended periods of standing and walking.
  • The ability to lift or assist with lifting patients of varying weights.
  • Daily manipulation of radiology equipment.
Personal Protective Equipment:

Adherence to standard precautions using personal protective equipment as necessary.
