Position Summary
The Field Installation Manager is a dynamic and self-driven professional tasked with overseeing mechanical and general installation operations on-site for assigned BEUMER system projects. This pivotal role offers essential support to the project management team and maintains ongoing, direct communication with clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the efforts of contractors and personnel involved in the installation or modification of supplied equipment, ensuring the highest quality of work is executed safely to achieve project objectives.
- At times, assume the role of Lead on-site or collaborate with another lead within a team.
- Engage in the installation of conveyors, integrated systems, and third-party or customer equipment on-site, necessitating extensive travel.
- Uphold safe and reliable construction and maintenance practices in alignment with BEUMER's policies and objectives, adhering to all relevant codes and regulations.
- Document contractor activities, prepare and deliver periodic updates, and verify the accuracy of checks.
- Ensure quality assurance on assigned tasks to confirm work is completed accurately, including non-conformance reports.
- Maintain a job box with necessary tools and hardware for transport to and from the job site.
- Support the Team Leader or department manager with various management tasks.
- Participate in project kick-off and close-out meetings.
- Manage daily installation activities while keeping the Project Manager and team informed.
- Foster effective professional relationships with site and project personnel, acting as BEUMER's representative for clients and subcontractors.
- Follow claims and change management processes, reporting all changes or deviations.
- Ensure adherence to BEUMER Group processes throughout the project.
- Assign tasks to workers and coordinate workflow to meet project timelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized site, ensuring compliance from all contractors and BEUMER personnel.

Technical and Quality Oversight
- Supervise contractors and departments in reviewing drawings, RFQs, and quality control checklists.
- Support the start-up and commissioning of equipment.
- Review mechanical drawing packages prior to project initiation.
- Ensure the highest standards of mechanical installation quality.
- Oversee the entire system's mechanical installation, addressing issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and third-party vendors to resolve system issues.
- Ensure all materials and work performed meet specifications.
- Manage site logistics, including material handling for subcontractors, and propose cost-effective solutions for projects.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of electro/mechanical experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient in interpreting installation drawings.
- Maintain certifications for forklift, scissor lift, and boom lift training.
- Intermediate welding skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 90% of the time, both domestically and internationally.
- Strong planning, organizational, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Capable of heavy lifting and material handling.
- Professional demeanor with a positive and energetic attitude.
- High degree of initiative, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Exceptional time management skills and customer service orientation.
- Flexibility and computer literacy, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid Driver's License, meeting underwriting requirements.
