The Senior Director of Development Operations will lead key efforts across the Development team to drive the successful implementation and management of philanthropic initiatives. This role will oversee the development and execution of infrastructure and processes to support charitable partnerships and department-wide initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and enforce processes, infrastructure tools, standards, and documentation needed to execute charitable partnerships.
- Partner with the Chief Revenue Officer and department leadership to establish long-term planning, goal tracking, and prioritization mechanisms.
- Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders and work across teams to lead large-scale, complex projects.
- Support the execution of initiatives designed to achieve the annual revenue goal.
- Manage the Development Operations team responsible for donor acknowledgement, gift processing, and donor/customer service.
- Develop and implement internal systems to ensure detailed and accurate reporting and tracking.
- Clearly articulate United Way's brand value, mission, and vision.
- Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience.
- Seven to ten years of prior relevant work experience or advanced education.
- Advanced-level project management expertise from a prior role required.
- Masterful fundraising and strategic philanthropy knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products required.
- Knowledge of Smartsheet and Salesforce preferred.
- Passion and commitment to United Way's mission and values.
