Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead arts, crafts, music, drama, educational, and exercise activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being.
- Prepare engaging newsletters and activity calendars, showcasing your creativity and photography skills.
- Hire, train, and supervise Resident Lifestyle Coordinators and Assistants, ensuring seamless program execution.
- Recruit and train volunteers to support our activities and events.
- Collaborate with Marketing to plan promotional events and activities that showcase our community's unique offerings.
- Participate in budget development and contribute to maintaining high-quality care standards.
- Coordinate transportation for residents to external events, utilizing company vehicles when necessary.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and leading life-enrichment activities for seniors in IL, AL, and/or MC settings.
- Leadership experience in senior living, hospitality, or healthcare management is preferred.
- An associate degree or higher in gerontology, business, human services, or a related field is preferred.
- Training or experience in dementia care is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and creativity are essential.
- Proficiency in computer systems, particularly Excel, Word, and Canva.
