As a Pricing and Margin Analyst at FreshPoint Southern California, Inc., you will play a critical role in reviewing customer pricing, markets, and nationals to identify opportunities for margin growth and improvement. You will oversee the setup and maintenance of all Corporate Multi-Unit (CMU) and Local contract bids and order guides, ensuring compliance with the Corporate Multi-Unit business and driving profitability.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement pricing strategies at the item level, ensuring accuracy and ongoing review.
- Analyze earned income and establish proper pricing structures as needed.
- Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
- Review margin reports daily at customer and item levels to ensure accurate adjusted gross profit.
- Identify top-moving items for margin enhancement and make recommendations to purchasing departments.
- Review markets daily and recommend price changes to customer bids and market and national costs.
- Assist the VP Purchasing/Sales in developing queries and reports.
- Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years pricing or similar experience.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, effective written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills.
