**Job Summary**

We are seeking an experienced Shipboard Supervisor to oversee all technical, schedule, and shipboard workforce associated with assigned ship repair projects. This role requires a detail-oriented and strategic individual who can manage ship repair projects while maintaining compliance with technical, safety, and quality standards.

Waveforce Electrical is a small but growing business specializing in electrical/electronic ship repair, maintenance, and modernization serving private and public shipyards and primarily Government customers. We deliver top-quality services to our clients, ensuring their vessels are maintained to the highest standards.

Position Overview

The Shipboard Supervisor will work closely with other Shipboard Supervisors and Project Managers to monitor and report progress status. Key responsibilities include supervising electrical/electronic trades personnel, monitoring project goals, identifying out-of-scope work, writing condition found reports, interfacing with prime contractor customers, ensuring safety and quality procedures, and complying with customer contracts and federal laws.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years' experience in management of shipboard electrical installation and repair services
  • Understanding of NAVSEA Standard Items, ABS, and other industry-related guidelines
  • Understanding of EIMB, EPISM, and Electrical MIL standards
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
