Position Overview: The role of the Project Policy Analyst 3 involves leveraging expertise as a seasoned professional with comprehensive knowledge of analytical methodologies, policies, and procedures. This position requires conducting research, analysis, and the formulation of solutions to a variety of complex issues. The analyst will exercise sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques to derive solutions.
Key Responsibilities: The incumbent will engage in analytical studies concerning diverse policies, projects, programs, and issues that support various functions, research initiatives, and organizational units. This includes:
- Assisting in the planning, development, administration, management, and execution of policies and programs.
- Interpreting, monitoring, and analyzing information related to policies and procedures, providing consultative services to department leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborating with a multi-cultural, multi-lingual team focused on enhancing behavioral health outcomes and reducing health disparities.
Research Focus: The analyst will participate in projects that emphasize digital health, behavioral health, and policy implementation science. A significant aspect of this role will involve engaging with community and public policy stakeholders to advance these initiatives.
Examples of Projects: The analyst may work on various studies, including:
- An implementation science trial of a digital health application in collaboration with community programs.
- A project aimed at improving population behavioral health outcomes through data indicators.
Collaboration and Support: Under the guidance of a supervisor, the analyst will work closely with project leaders and collaborators to coordinate and support research grants and community engagement activities. Responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating participant recruitment, consent, enrollment, and retention.
- Conducting primary and secondary data collection and managing databases.
- Engaging with local, state, and federal partners to develop and implement behavioral health policy projects.
- Preparing reports and necessary documentation for review boards and funding agencies.
Work Environment: The position is primarily based in a designated office location, with potential travel required for community engagement activities.
