  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and rates; oversee daily room assignments and manage VIP accommodations.
  • Implement hotel credit policies effectively.
  • Handle reservations through various channels, including phone and online systems; monitor and charge for 'no-show' guests.
  • Utilize revenue management strategies to optimize occupancy and profitability.
  • Complete required training courses within the specified timeframe after hiring.
  • Perform general clerical tasks as needed within the hotel.
  • Participate in monthly meetings to discuss front desk operations.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop initiatives aimed at increasing room revenue.
  • Assist at the front desk as necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to apply personal judgment and specialized knowledge to assist guests.
  • Capability to transition smoothly between various tasks, such as data entry, directory searches, and phone communications.
  • Qualifications:

    Education:
    High School Diploma or equivalent.

    Experience:
    A minimum of one year in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
