Navistar is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to lead the development of strategic market and product line business plans to enhance or distinguish product placement. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in marketing, sales, or product-related experience, with at least 12 years of experience and 2 years of lead experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic market and product line business plans to enhance or distinguish product placement
  • Oversee market research and monitor competitive activity to identify business opportunities and address customer needs
  • Identify strategic customers or partners and establish pricing strategies
  • Communicate VOC (voice of the customer) and VOD (voice of dealer) for product improvements and competitive positioning
  • Leverage feedback from customers to develop aftersales solutions that will help optimize their total cost of ownership
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure organizational alignment with all business plans to develop new products or enhance existing product lines
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • At least 12 years of marketing, sales, or product-related experience
  • At least 2 years of lead experience
Desired Skills:
  • Successful product management and demonstrated success with conquest or pilot customers
  • Capability to create professional PowerPoint presentations for large dealer or executive meetings
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills and proficiency in MS Excel
  • Ability to travel to dealer and customer locations in person
  • Comfortable with new technology (software & hardware)
  • Comfortable presenting to large groups, in person or remote
