Job Title: Cost Accounting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Cost Accounting Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost accounting, including analyzing manufacturing costs, preparing financial reports, and assisting with budget preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all cost accounting activities and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, including cost analysis, margin analysis, and forecasting.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure accurate cost allocation and to provide financial guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
  • Participate in financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the cost accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. A master's degree or CPA certification will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar accounting software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting standards and regulations.
