Position Overview:
The Staff Financial Operations Analyst is tasked with executing comprehensive financial evaluations and data analysis to establish key performance indicators (KPIs) that gauge both financial and operational effectiveness. This role is pivotal in enhancing business strategy and ensuring precise reporting and operational productivity.

Key Responsibilities:
This position is integral in delivering insightful analyses across various departments, including procurement, logistics, warehouse management, production, engineering, customer operations, and finance.

Core Duties Include:

  • Collecting, organizing, and analyzing inventory data from diverse sources to produce a weekly report that supports impactful business and operational insights.
  • Updating Python scripts as per management's data requirements.
  • Evaluating site transfers, ESR, Eval, RMA, and RTV activities while generating monthly ESR E&O reports.
  • Monitoring and analyzing internal freight and PPV expenses, tracking PPV, site transfers, and invoice requests through Jira.
  • Conducting financial and operational modeling for customer reports, including inventory turnover assessments and freight/tariff reconciliations.
  • Designing and refining Tableau Prep workflows for excess inventory analysis and providing feedback on E&O inventory tracking, collaborating with internal teams to mitigate excess inventory.
  • Supporting ad-hoc financial and business analysis requests from various departments.

Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the finance sector is required.

Skills Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, is essential. Candidates should demonstrate independent problem-solving abilities, adeptness in interpreting complex data into clear findings, and a commitment to detail and deadlines. Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills are crucial.

Familiarity with financial and accounting principles, such as inventory aging, turnover ratios, and revenue recognition, is expected. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, capable of tackling complex challenges and developing models. Experience with financial analysis and data visualization tools is highly valued, along with advanced Excel skills and hands-on experience with SAP, Python, Jira, and Tableau Prep.
