- Lead Due Diligence Activities: Lead due diligence activities, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and strategic analysis.
- Facilitate Organizational Alignment: Facilitate dialogue and organizational alignment around whether to pursue deals based on diligence, risk, growth potential, financial modeling, and strategic intent.
- Articulate Deal Summary: Articulate, at the executive level, a deal summary of benefits and risks in a holistic and strategic manner that encompasses both the qualitative and financial picture as well as organizational and non-financial nuances.
- Drive Inorganic Growth: Impact company revenue and profitability by executing to inorganic growth targets and influencing decisions that lead to long-term profitability for the acquired company and corresponding business/region.
- Lead Cross-Functional Teams: Directly manage a small team of BD managers and senior analysts, as well as matrixed leadership across the enterprise through due diligence and deal execution.
- Education: A Bachelors Degree in a Business, Finance, or related field of study is required. An MBA or other graduate degree is strongly preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years of relevant M&A experience is required. Healthcare industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Skills: Strong, demonstrable business and financial acumen and analytical skills are essential. Communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to facilitate decision-making in a complex, matrix environment where change is a constant is critical.
- Travel: The ability to travel up to 25% of the time is required.
