Position Overview:
The Safety and Security Specialist will be responsible for implementing and managing the organization's security protocols and procedures. This role involves overseeing access control measures and investigating any security breaches that may occur.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections and patrols of the premises to ensure safety and security.
  • Investigate and document security incidents, providing detailed reports.
  • Assist employees and visitors with security-related inquiries and concerns.
  • Administer badging and access requirements for restricted areas.
  • Collaborate with government and contracting clients on security and compliance matters.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff to ensure adherence to security policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective prioritization of tasks.
  • Adaptability to organizational changes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
  • Demonstrated initiative, attention to detail, and accountability.
  • Previous experience in security services is advantageous.
  • Experience with controlled or classified materials is a plus.
