Overview
The Guest Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors at Elms Hotel & Spa. This position involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs while upholding the hotel's commitment to exceptional service and financial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and facilitate the registration process, which includes entering and retrieving information from the system, confirming guest details and rates, assigning rooms, and providing essential information about the hotel.
- Assist guests during check-out by ensuring accurate billing, processing payments, and addressing any inquiries regarding their stay.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of hotel offerings, including room types, rates, special packages, and local attractions, to effectively respond to guest questions.
- Utilize upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences and promote hotel amenities.
- Address guest requests and concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring satisfaction and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Manage guest communications, including relaying messages and information as needed.
- Support the front desk operations, which may include assisting with food and beverage service as required.
