Assistant Sales Manager

About the Job:

Bond Consultants Group is a professional employment services firm. We are partnering with a leading manufacturer of pneumatics equipment to find an Assistant Sales Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage sales for existing accounts and new customers in multiple regions, including MN, CO, CA, TX, NY, NJ, MA, FL, and ON/Canada.
  • Oversee sales and promotion of pneumatic parts, demonstrating expertise in products and industry.
  • Regularly visit distributors and manufacturers to build relationships and identify opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships, staying up-to-date on company methodology.
  • Offer solutions to current and prospective customers' needs, collaborating with internal departments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distributors for company success and growth.
  • Handle sales activities, including RFQs, order/delivery follow-ups, inventory management, and customer forecast analysis.
  • Follow guidance from the Sales Planning and Direction Team, developing and implementing effective strategies.
  • Create reports as needed.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of sales experience in pneumatics or a related industry (hydraulics, sales engineering, automation, etc.).
  • 1+ year of sales management experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ for company sales activities.
  • Excellent multi-tasking, teamwork, and ownership skills.
  • Adaptable sales planning, organizational, and goal achievement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in any CRM tools a plus.
  • Japanese language proficiency a plus.
Benefits:
  • Company performance bonus (0%-5% of annual salary; once per year).

This role requires a strong understanding of the pneumatics industry and excellent sales management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to manage sales teams, develop business relationships, and stay up-to-date on company methodology.

Estimated Salary Range:

$70,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on skills and experience.
