Role Overview:
The Strategic Finance Partner will be a pivotal figure in steering the financial strategy of the organization. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role is designed for a proactive individual who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to provide insightful financial analysis that informs decision-making and enhances business performance.
- Lead the optimization of newly implemented ERP and BI systems, ensuring that financial data is utilized effectively to drive improvements.
- Analyze financial and operational data to assess performance and support management in strategic decision-making.
- Develop and implement standard costing methodologies across the organization to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
- Assist Sales and Operations teams in business development initiatives, including pricing strategies and forecasting.
- Evaluate factory performance and propose actionable improvements.
- Spearhead process development initiatives, working closely with management to deliver meaningful insights that influence business outcomes.
- Engage in various projects aimed at delivering business enhancements, including finance-led initiatives and support for operational projects.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A natural curiosity and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with a talent for transforming data into actionable insights.
- Experience in process manufacturing and a solid understanding of standard costing methodologies.
- Familiarity with ERP and reporting systems; experience with MS Dynamics and Power BI is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Relevant qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent experience.
