- Testing Standards: Contribute to the creation and maintenance of UAT testing standards, best practices, and documentation specific to health insurance domain.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in health insurance to enhance testing strategies and methodologies.
- Team Collaboration: Mentor junior testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a culture of quality and innovation within the organization.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Health Informatics, or related field.
- Experience: Experience (X years) in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) within the health insurance domain, preferably in a software development or healthcare environment.
- Health Insurance Knowledge: Understanding of health insurance concepts, including enrollment, claims processing, provider networks, member eligibility, and regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA).
- Testing Skills: Ability to create test plans, test cases, and test scripts using testing tools such as HP ALM, Jira, or similar platforms.
- Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, with experience working in Agile development teams.
- Analytical and Communication Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, prioritize, and communicate defects and risks effectively.
- Collaboration and Adaptability: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization, with a focus on delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.
- Professional Certifications: Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) and/or health insurance (e.g., AHIP) is a plus.
- Adaptability and Independence: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
