Position Overview
We are seeking a Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to spearhead our technology initiatives. This role involves aligning our technological framework with overarching business objectives by establishing, executing, and upholding our technology strategy, security protocols, governance standards, and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of a comprehensive strategic information technology plan to ensure the necessary technical infrastructure is in place for future growth.
  • Establish and enforce robust security policies and practices to safeguard the confidentiality, compliance, and reliability of all corporate, community, resident, associate, client, and customer data, as well as proprietary systems and intellectual property, adhering to industry standards and regulations.
  • Define and implement both physical and logical protections for all infrastructure and end-user devices within the organization.
  • Innovate and develop advanced AI solutions to propel the organization forward.
  • Provide strategic oversight for the cybersecurity program, utilizing a risk-based approach to direct internal and external services and ensure agility in response to an evolving threat landscape.
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to assess IT needs and priorities, effectively communicating IT plans, progress, and impacts.
  • Monitor IT performance metrics, analyze trends, and implement enhancements to improve IT service delivery and support.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen the organization’s position through the strategic application of technology to processes and services.
  • Ensure an integrated technical environment that facilitates rapid application delivery, easy information access, and the flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Manage a portfolio of projects to optimize value for the organization.
  • Ensure that systems are developed following standard methodologies and sound software development principles.
  • Identify and foster strategic partnerships with technology vendors and service providers, managing contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of leadership experience with a solid understanding of systems architecture, system design, hardware, website development, database management, information management, risk management, security design, regulatory compliance, networks, and reporting.
  • Experience in the healthcare or senior living industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in managing and leading IT teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing complex IT projects.
  • Experience with BI platforms, software development, web applications, budgeting/forecasting, data warehousing, ERPs, Microsoft SQL, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and HIPAA compliance is essential.
