Position Overview

Our esteemed financial institution is on the lookout for a Senior Client Relationship Executive. This role will be pivotal in driving business development initiatives and attracting new clientele.

Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary of up to $140K, complemented by a performance-based bonus and a comprehensive benefits package. Please note that this role is not available for remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging in the sourcing, negotiation, underwriting, and coordination of complex commercial loans, including commercial real estate, SBA, equipment financing, and select consumer loans, ensuring adherence to the bank's lending policies.
  • Building and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective clients; conducting site visits for loan assessments; negotiating terms and conditions; approving loans within designated limits or referring them to senior management for further evaluation.
  • Accountable for achieving annual growth targets for deposits and loans as set by upper management.
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to develop, analyze, and finalize intricate loan agreements with representatives from large enterprises.
  • Conducting interviews with potential applicants and gathering all necessary documentation related to loan or credit applications.
  • Performing pre-qualification assessments and analyzing the financial condition and risk associated with financing requests, aligned with the bank's credit culture and current market trends.
  • Collecting and evaluating all pertinent information to present financing requests to senior management or the loan committee for approval.
  • Overseeing the processing of approved loans; ensuring compliance with agreements and customer requirements while adhering to bank lending policies.
  • Researching credit inquiries and UCC filings to assess creditworthiness and appropriate collateral positioning.
  • Maintaining communication with legal counsel and collection agencies regarding workouts, bankruptcies, and charge-offs to implement necessary precautionary measures.
  • Providing guidance and training to loan officers and other team members.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

  • A minimum of five years of experience in commercial banking.
  • Successful NMLS Registration is mandatory.

  • In-depth understanding of relevant state and federal lending regulations, as well as the bank's lending policies.
  • Advanced proficiency in analyzing financial statements and tax returns.
  • Demonstrated ability to cultivate marketing and business development skills with clients.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and specialized software applications.
