Job Description

Resolute Industrial, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Vice President & General Manager to lead our rental business operations. This key role will be responsible for formulating and executing comprehensive strategies to drive revenue, market share, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales and service strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Lead and empower regional general managers to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.
  • Maximize contribution margin through competitive pricing strategies and product development.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key accounts and drive growth initiatives.
  • Conduct regular reviews with regional general managers to evaluate progress against sales plans and goals.
  • Recommend and develop innovative sales and operations incentive plans to drive performance.
  • Collaborate with operations and finance teams to optimize service and sales support costs.
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends and competitive dynamics to inform strategic decisions.
  • Actively participate in industry trade associations to strengthen regional presence and networking.
  • Identify and capitalize on growth and cost efficiency opportunities.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through processes that drive satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee regional marketing efforts to maximize visibility and relevance.
  • Ensure cost-effective execution and quality assurance in branch operations.
  • Optimize the reliability, utilization, and profitability of the rental fleet.
  • Lead initiatives for product enhancement and innovative rental solutions.
  • Develop and monitor operational metrics to assess efficiency and guide continuous improvement.
  • Enforce operational expense control measures.
  • Drive branch facility expansion activities in alignment with the company's organic growth strategy.
  • Manage forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Champion safety initiatives across the region.
  • Implement and oversee the company performance management system.
  • Collaborate with senior management to shape and refine overall business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; 10+ years of relevant field experience in Engineering, Technical, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in the Specialty rental industry.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of ERP, CRM, and business systems.
  • Proven leadership skills with a history of motivating and mentoring teams.
  • Documented track record of driving growth and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Strategic mindset with data-driven analytical skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial metrics, market segmentation, customer preferences, and evolving industry trends.
  • In-depth familiarity with construction contracting, engineering, and direct selling processes.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
