Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000-$72,000 per year, based on experience and equity.

Job Overview

This Oncology Clinical Nurse Navigator/Coordinator role is responsible for ensuring all patients with a cancer diagnosis receive quality and comprehensive services. The individual works closely with the multidisciplinary team to navigate the complex cancer care system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Navigates patients through the healthcare system to ensure timely access to treatment
  • Serves as a clinical resource and advocate for patients and families
  • Coordinates patient care across the continuum, from diagnosis through survivorship
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: Preferred three years direct patient care experience in oncology
  • Licensure: Current District of Columbia licensure or eligibility
  • Education: Minimum nursing baccalaureate degree from an accredited school
  • Certification: Certification from the Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation Program (ONCC) or other cancer specific nursing certification
