Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at SMS. As an Outside Sales Professional, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Knoxville area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers at small to medium-sized businesses
  • Conduct daily sales appointments to promote Business Analyst services and secure Survey Agreements
  • Collaborate with the Sales Manager to review daily successes and challenges, and gain sales support as needed

Requirements:

  • At least three years of business ownership experience and/or three years of face-to-face direct sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary; we will consider the right experience over a degree
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
  • Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships, particularly with business owners, presidents, and CEOs
  • Good communicator with excellent listening skills and ability to uncover the real 'pain' a client might be experiencing
  • Ability to begin work immediately

What We Offer:

  • This is a commission-only position with residual income and daily cash bonuses; $100K-$110K realistic first-year earnings
  • Potential to earn high six-figure commissions
