Job Description

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled Senior Vendor Manager to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our vendors, driving business growth, and optimizing our product portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute vendor negotiation strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, including onboarding, escalations, and negotiations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business results and improve customer experiences.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize Amazon's business and financial profitability.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.

The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company, and dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
