Key Responsibilities
  • Project Safety Oversight: Ensure all aspects of commercial construction projects meet OSHA compliance requirements.
  • Daily Safety Meetings: Conduct regular safety meetings to discuss project-specific safety concerns and best practices.
  • Accident Reporting and Investigations: Complete accident reports and conduct thorough investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Management: Ensure all personnel wear required PPE and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance.
  • Daily Safety Audits and Inspections: Conduct daily safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Equipment Inspections: Inspect power tools and heavy equipment to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience required.
  • Certifications: OSHA 30 hour in Construction certification required, First Aid/CPR certified.
  • Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, including Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation.
  • Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to embody HazTek's Core Values of Integrity, Compassion, Dependability, Leadership, and Accountability.
