AECOM is seeking a highly skilled Safety and Health Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Transportation Safety and Health team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and health of our employees and clients on transportation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and implement safety and health programs and procedures to meet or exceed OSHA and government compliance requirements.
  • Attend project meetings, review task-specific Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and assist with safety planning.
  • Mitigate hazards and associated risks within the organization to reduce work-related injury and illness.
  • Monitor corporate and regional safety programs and policies to improve year-over-year safety performance.
  • Develop and coordinate safety training materials and programs.
  • Ensure all state and federal recordkeeping and reporting requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • BS/BA + 6 years of relevant safety, health, and/or environment experience or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Ability to travel to other facilities to perform inventory duties using a company-provided vehicle.
  • 10 Hour OSHA Certification preferred.
