Millwork Project Lead

We are seeking a motivated Millwork Project Lead with experience in installation, shop floor operations, engineering, fabrication, or purchasing to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. You will collaborate closely with our team to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage 5-10 concurrent projects at various stages of development.
  • Conduct on-site visits for precise field measurements and installation supervision.
  • Oversee the submittal process, including reviewing architectural drawings and collaborating with design engineers to develop shop drawings.
  • Communicate effectively with team members regarding material specifications and assist in procuring quotes or specifying specialty items.
  • Review shop drawings to ensure adherence to best practices prior to production.
  • Coordinate with the production team to maintain high quality standards.
  • Liaise with general contractors (GCs) and subcontractors to coordinate deliveries and installations.
Qualifications:
  • Comprehensive knowledge of plastic laminate, wood veneer, panel products, hardwoods, cabinet hardware, mouldings, and related materials.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Installation, shop floor, engineering, fabrication, or purchasing experience is preferred. We are willing to train individuals with a strong aptitude and willingness to learn.
